Matthew Leverich is a JD/MD student at the University of Toledo. He earned his undergraduate degree from Nazareth University and a Master's degree from the University of Toledo. He is an aspiring vascular surgeon with a special interest in the relationship between law and medicine. His areas of research include aneurysmal disease, cerebrovascular disease, and the epidemiology of venous thromboembolism. Outside of vascular surgery - he is passionate about the philosophy of medicine and created UT's first medical elective course focused on the area.
