Dr. Sheila Blumberg is a Board Certified in General and Vascular Surgery and works solely as a practicing vascular surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine since September 2016 after completing both her residency training in General Surgery and subspecialty Vascular surgery fellowship training at New York University Langone Medical Center and NYU School of Medicine in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Her focus is the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders, specifically venous disorders, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot ulcers and limb salvage surgery, lymphedema, endovascular therapies for thoracic and abdominal aneurysmal disease, carotid, lower extremity arterial and venous disease. She has a Masters in Clinical Investigation from NYU School of Medicine and is actively involved in clinical research in these areas of interest.
