Nurse Practitioner
Stony Brook University Hospital
I received my Registered Nursing degree from York College of Pennsylvania in 1995. I then went on to pursue my Master's in Nursing from Molloy College in Rockville Centre NY, while working full time at St. Francis Hospital the Heart Center in the Step-Down Unit and Recovery Room for 7 years.
I graduated from Molloy College in 2000 and have been working in the vascular surgery arena ever since. For the past 14 years, I have been working with the Stony Brook Vascular and Endovascular Surgery team, which is my second home.
Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with vascular disease is both interesting and rewarding. I pride myself on effective and prompt communication skills. I have bonded with many patients and their families. My main focus is to create an environment where the patient and families anxiety and stress of preoperative, operative and post operative worries are addressed.
