Mary S. Lin, M.D. is a general surgery resident at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She is currently in the academic development time of her residency program, where she is a clinical research fellow at the Center for Vascular Research at the University of Maryland under the mentorship of Dr. Brajesh K. Lal. Her research focus during this time is primarily on the use of artificial intelligence techniques in the development of risk assessment models for venous thromboembolism. She is supported by the 2024 AVF-Jobst Clinical Research Grant, as well as the NIH T32 Epidemiology of Aging training grant (AG000262).
